For years, I looked like I had it together on the outside — but inside, I was anxious, overwhelmed, and constantly trying to manage everything for everyone else.
I was burnt out from doing all the "right" things — chasing productivity, over-scheduling, and pushing through exhaustion while telling myself to “just be grateful.”
But gratitude doesn’t cancel out depletion. And I was depleted.
I felt like I had to earn rest. That if I didn’t hustle, I’d fall behind. That slowing down meant I was failing. And I know how heavy that can feel.
